Starting March 1, 2004, ALL hatcheries are being assessed with a $1.00 per lb. surcharge on all poultry that is being shipped airmail. Please call for a quote. All customers that are in Zones 4 or higher will need to add an additional 14% to their charges. This will cover the weight for airmail. Everyone will need to pay $15.00 to cover the postage, no matter what zone they are in. The airlines put this surcharge on despite the hatcheries complaints against this matter.
