Starting March 1, 2004 ALL hatcheries are being assessed with a $1.00 per lb. surcharge on all poultry that is being shipped airmail.  Zones 4 or higher are airmail. The shipping chart has what it costs to ship your poultry. Look up your zip code to find the zone and the shipping chart tells you how much it will be.  Any questions feel free to call.  Everyone will need to pay $15.00 to cover the postage, no matter what zone they are in. The airlines put this surcharge on despite the hatcheries complaints against this matter.
